Hello all! Yes, it has been a while. I have been doing some serious work on myself and getting through some ‘stuff’.
I moved my office into my home in rural Sycamore. We live in the woods and the setting here is very beautiful. So I have not completely disappeared ; -) However, I won’t be posting my address on the website. I am about 10 minutes northwest of downtown Sycamore between Peace Road and Five Points Road.
If it’s been a while since we’ve connected, please send me a message and let me know how you are doing. I would love to hear from you! And of course, would love to set up an appointment!
Much love to all! May you be blessed!
I finally have an opportunity to sit down and catch up. It’s been an amazing year! As you may probably know, Kindred Spirits was faced with a very difficult decision to move. This decision affected all of the tenants that shared space with in the cabin. So the search for a new office began.

We are now located in downtown Sycamore across the street from the famous Jane Fargo Hotel. In case you’re wondering, it’s famous because it’s Haunted!
This has for me been the year of the move! My ‘day job’ moved twice in one year, I moved my business office from Oswego to Sycamore AND we moved our residence after 19 years in one house. So this has been a year to remember!
I do want to take a moment and thank everyone! Thank you for spreading the word about me. Word of mouth is the best advertising. You are the best!
Looking back on this year I’m amazed at all the people that crossed my path. Whether they showed me something I liked or didn’t like, they all showed me something about myself. Thank you! I learn from everyone and now I send love and blessings to all!
This year look for Wellness Days and Donation Days!
**For Donation Days, I’m asking you to spread to word to those that would not otherwise afford it to come in on those days.**

Still decorating but it’s coming together beautifully. Creating a space for healing.
I will be traveling out of the country from July 19th to August 10th. So if you call or text me for an appointment and you don’t hear from me, I will be in Southeast Asia and will have VERY limited access to the internet and no access to my phone or text messages. So please forgive me if I don’t answer.
I’ve been invited to travel to Malaysia through Northern Illinois University. So I will be working some of the time. The other part of the time I’m there I will be doing some really deep personal spiritual work. I will be writing about it and sharing my experiences, so stay tuned.
If you have never been to Southeast Asia, here is what I had to do to prepare so far:
I needed a Typhoid shot, Hep A and B, and an update on tetanus/whooping-cough. Then I needed to get a prescription for malaria. I have to start taking a pill once a week starting 2 weeks before I leave and then continue taking it 4 weeks after I return.
Then trying to figure out what to bring on the trip that will fit in one suitcase not to weigh more that 50 pounds and one carry one backpack. That’s it! So needless to say, it’s been a challenge deciding what to bring and what not to bring. Toilet paper, hand sanitizer and sanitary wipes are a priority.
I experienced some fears about going to a country that is very different from ours. One fear was imagining having to go to the bathroom into a hole in the floor. I had my acupuncture lady work on my kidney meridian and the fear is now gone.
I’ve informed my contact in Malaysia that I am a vegetarian, so no surprises in what I would be eating meat wise. I’ve been a vegetarian again since the beginning of the new year. I do still eat fish, but prefer it raw.
This has been a very unexpected surprise trip for me. I am in deep gratitude to the teacher and student that requested my services on this trip and for NIU for paying for and taking care of all of my travel arrangements.
Thank you all for your continued support with Inner Harmony Massage Therapy and Intuitive Services. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you.
I love finding about CranioSacral therapy in the news. Here are a couple of great YouTube Videos on CranioSacral Therapy. Enjoy!!!

As a massage therapist and energy worker, I can SEE how food affects other people. I FEEL how it affects me. Over the years I have found that I have become very sensitive to certain foods. Some food I eat and I can feel a reaction right away. Other foods I might not get a reaction for up to 72 hours later. Those foods are harder to identify because I’m not sure which food was the culprit.
I decided to look for a doctor that would work with me in finding out which foods I was sensitive to. I was referred to Dr. Delilah Anderson in a small rural town about 40 minutes from me. I made my first appointment and during that appointment I learned about the MANY symptoms of food sensitivities. I also learned that I have Adrenal Fatigue.
She proceeded to take several vials of blood to have my immune response tested for most foods. Very expensive and detailed test but to me, after what I’ve been dealing with for many years, was so worth it. I’m worth it. So I’m on a journey of discovering what my body likes and what my body responds negatively to. Really, negative is a strong word. It’s really what foods I eat that causes my body to have an immune response. It’s my body trying to defend itself from foods that cause an inflammatory reaction. So really the symptoms are negative from my view point. The body, in its infinite intelligence, is doing what is best for it.
Over the past couple of years, I know I have changed spiritually, but my body has not been able to keep up with the changes. The vibration of my Spiritual Self is moving upward or to a high frequency. My physical body is not changing vibrationally, because it can’t. It has to deal with inflammation and the immune response from the vibrational frequencies I put into my own body. Now because of the deeper vibrational split, I FEEL it more. I’m looking forward, and also not looking forward to the changes that are coming. I know my body will benefit from the changes and I KNOW it will be quite an adjustment for me.
I should get the results in a couple of weeks.
